Thaks to David Hochhalter (Tech advisor -Dodge Brothers Club, for 1930 Dodge DD) for solving the mystery motor number puzzle.

It turns out that this motor was built in March 1931  and is from a Desoto Model SA.

Looks like Cheech snd Chong came for a visit and wanted to sit in the Dodge- who am I to refuse?
